Ask AstroNoir AiChat About Your Natal Chart
Once we draw your chart above, ask our AI up to three free questions about it. It reads your exact placements, houses and aspects — never generic sun-sign talk.
Your privacy. No account, no sign-up — you can enter test data and stay completely anonymous. Everything you enter is used only to compute your chart and to let the AI answer you during your visit, then automatically deleted when your session ends — we don't keep it, sell it, or tie it to your name. The AI reads only your freshly computed chart, never a stored profile, and never gives medical, legal or financial advice. The one and only thing we ever keep is fully anonymous: if our Birth Time Finder guesses your time and you choose to tell us it was wrong, we save that single correction — with no name, ever — to make our guessing better. Nothing else.
Real astronomy, not guesswork
Your chart is computed with the Swiss Ephemeris — the gold-standard astronomical library used by professional astrologers and observatories, built on NASA JPL planetary data and accurate to a fraction of an arc-second. Nothing is rounded to the nearest sign or faked from your birthday alone: every position is the true sky at your exact time and place of birth. Across our whole user base, the Sun, Ascendant, Midheaven and Vertex match professional ephemeris references to within 0.05° — a twentieth of a degree.
And the precision is measured, not claimed. Every aspect carries its exact orb to a thousandth of a degree — an aspect at 0.02° lands very differently from one at 2° — graded against defined tolerances (exact, tight, and so on) and tagged as applying (still building) or separating (fading), a real astrological distinction most apps drop entirely. We also resolve the historically correct timezone for your birth moment, accounting for past daylight-saving and wartime rules. Read more on accuracy & precision and the full math.
What this calculator includes
AstroNoir uses the Tropical zodiac and Placidus houses, computed live from real positions — never looked up from a table. Your chart goes far beyond the usual ten planets:
The planets & luminaries — Sun through Pluto, by exact degree, sign and house.
The four angles + the Vertex — Ascendant (rising sign), Midheaven, Descendant and IC, plus the Vertex & Anti-Vertex, the axis of fated encounters.
The twelve houses — every cusp, taken from your exact ascendant.
140+ asteroids & sensitive points — Chiron, Black Moon Lilith, the North & South Nodes, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta and dozens more, tracked to the second. See your Lilith →
~50 Arabic Lots (Parts) — including the Part of Fortune and Part of Spirit, the calculated points classical astrologers swore by.
Fixed stars — the major fixed-star conjunctions to your planets, a layer almost every other free calculator ignores.
Dignity, reception & sect — how strong, supported, and day- or night-flavored each placement is.
Every aspect — measured — each conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition, with its orb to a thousandth of a degree and its applying/separating motion.
And that is just the natal chart. The same engine also runs your draconic chart, returns, secondary progressions, profections, firdaria and zodiacal releasing — see everything we calculate, or the full inventory in Crazy Math.
Why your birth time matters
The date and place fix where the planets were; the time fixes the chart's frame. Your Ascendant changes sign roughly every two hours, and your house cusps shift with it — so even a 20-minute error can move planets into different houses and change your rising sign entirely. The Moon moves about half a degree an hour, so its exact degree (and sometimes its sign) depends on the time too.
Don't know your birth time? You can still calculate a chart — tap "I'm not sure of my exact birth time" and we use a 12:00 noon fallback, the standard astrological convention when the time is unknown. Your planetary signs and most aspects stay accurate, but you'll lose the precise Ascendant, the Midheaven, the house placements and the Moon's exact degree. If you can find your birth time on your birth certificate, the chart becomes far more personal. You can update your birth details any time once you have an account.
How to read your natal chart
A natal chart has three moving parts — planets (what), signs & houses (how and where), and aspects (how it all connects).
The planets — what is at play
Sun — your core identity, vitality and purpose. Find your Sun sign →
Moon — your emotions, instincts and what makes you feel safe. Find your Moon sign →
Mercury — your mind, voice and how you think and communicate.
Venus — love, beauty, values and what you're drawn to.
Mars — drive, desire, anger and how you take action.
Jupiter — growth, luck, belief and where life expands.
Saturn — discipline, limits and the mastery you earn the hard way. See your Saturn Return →
Uranus, Neptune & Pluto — the generational forces: change, dreams and transformation.
Chiron, Lilith & the Nodes — the wound that heals, your untamed edge, and your destiny axis. Find your Black Moon Lilith →
The houses — where it happens
The twelve houses are the stage. Each rules an area of life: 1st self & body, 2nd money & values, 3rd communication, 4th home & family, 5th romance & creativity, 6th work & health, 7th partnership, 8th intimacy & shared resources, 9th travel & belief, 10th career & reputation, 11th friends & hopes, 12th the unconscious & solitude. Your rising sign sets where house 1 begins — which is why an accurate time matters. Find your Rising sign →
The aspects — how it connects
Aspects are the angles between planets. A conjunction (0°) fuses two energies; a sextile (60°) offers easy opportunity; a square (90°) creates friction that drives growth; a trine (120°) flows as natural talent; an opposition (180°) pulls you between two poles to balance. AstroNoir measures every aspect's orb to a thousandth of a degree and tracks whether it is applying or separating — so "strong" and "weak" are thresholds, not opinions. Together they turn a list of placements into a living, interconnected story.
Patterns we detect
Beyond single aspects, your chart can form larger figures — and these often define a person. Look for a stellium (three or more planets in one sign or house, a concentrated focus), a grand trine (three planets in flowing harmony), a T-square or grand cross (dynamic tension that fuels achievement), or a yod (the "finger of fate").
