What is birth-time rectification?
Birth-time rectification is the astrological practice of working backward from who you are to estimate a birth time you don't have on record. Your date and place already fix where the planets were; only the time sets your rising sign (ascendant) and houses — and the rising sign changes about every two hours, with the houses rotating behind it. Rectification narrows down which of those time-slots fits you best. It's an educated estimate, never a proof — but for someone with no time at all, it's the difference between a 12-hour blank and a 30-minute window.
