Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service. It defines what is and isn't allowed when using AstroNoir.ai. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination — without refund — depending on severity.
1. Our promise — and what we ask in return
AstroNoir runs on hardware we own and operate ourselves — including a private GPU rig that powers our AI. That means we do not have to ration your usage to keep server costs under control. So we do not.
For paying users (Starter, Pro, and Pro Lifetime), there are no artificial caps on:
- AI Chat messages,
- friends invited or compared,
- location compatibility checks,
- dream journal entries,
- or any other paid feature.
"Unlimited" actually means unlimited. That is not just marketing — it is how the architecture is built.
Because we choose not to enforce hard caps, we depend on our users acting in good faith. If we detect that an account is abusing our goodwill or harming the service for other users — for example by running automated traffic, sharing or selling credentials, scraping content, generating deliberately wasteful prompts whose only purpose is to consume compute, or using our AI as a backend for a different product — we reserve the right to:
- apply temporary usage limits to that specific account;
- suspend the account pending investigation;
- permanently terminate the account, without refund.
This applies regardless of plan tier. A Pro Lifetime member who abuses the system will be limited or terminated in exactly the same way as a Free user would be. Lifetime status grants long-term access to a service we run honestly — and we ask the same honesty in return.
Where reasonable, we will reach out and explain before taking severe action. In cases of clear malicious intent (e.g. obvious automation, credential resale, security probing), we may act immediately.
2. One person, one account
Each AstroNoir.ai account belongs to one natural person. You may not:
- create multiple accounts to bypass Free tier restrictions;
- share login credentials with others;
- resell access to your account or to features behind a paywall;
- operate an account on behalf of someone who has not consented (parents may operate accounts for minor children with consent).
3. No automation, no scraping
AstroNoir.ai is built for personal, human use. You must not:
- scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest content from the Service;
- use bots, headless browsers, or automated scripts to interact with the Service;
- build tools that depend on undocumented endpoints;
- send requests at a rate or volume that places undue load on our infrastructure;
- use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any third-party AI/LLM model.
4. No abuse of the AI
Our AI features (chat, dream decoder, etc.) exist to give you personalized cosmic guidance. You must not:
- attempt prompt injection, jailbreaks, or to extract our system prompts;
- use the AI to generate illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content;
- use the AI to generate content targeting real individuals without their consent;
- use the AI as a substitute for medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice (it is for entertainment only — see Terms);
- flood the AI with nonsense to consume credits or degrade the service for others.
5. No harmful content
You must not upload, submit, or share any content that:
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- contains malware, exploits, or malicious code;
- is illegal in Serbia or in your jurisdiction;
- defames, harasses, threatens, or incites violence against any person or group;
- sexualises minors in any way;
- contains deceptive financial schemes or scams.
6. No security tampering
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written permission;
- attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, paywalls, or rate limits;
- access another user's account or data;
- interfere with the operation of the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
- introduce viruses, worms, time bombs, or any malicious payload.
Responsible security research is welcome. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to [email protected] — we will acknowledge within 72 hours and not pursue legal action against good-faith researchers.
7. No payment fraud
Payments are processed through our two first-party channels — Google Play for Android-app purchases and Dodo Payments for web/PWA purchases. On either channel, you must not:
- use fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorised payment methods;
- cycle subscriptions to abuse refunds, on either channel;
- file unjustified chargebacks — please contact [email protected] first, we resolve almost everything;
- use the Service from a sanctioned jurisdiction in violation of applicable export-control laws.
8. Reporting violations
If you believe another user is violating this AUP, or if you see content that should be removed, please report it to [email protected] with as much detail as you can provide. We will investigate and act within a reasonable time frame.
9. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take any action we consider appropriate, including:
- warning the user;
- removing offending content;
- temporarily suspending the account;
- permanently terminating the account without refund;
- cooperating with law-enforcement authorities where required by law.
Severe or repeated violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.
10. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and/or a banner on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
